By invitation of DVV International, Mr Le Huy Lam, SEAMEO CELLL Centre Director and Mr Nguyen Cong Hinh, Director-General, Continuing Education Department, Vietnam MOET, attended the The XIV German Adult Education Conference, which took place in Berlin, Germany, on 9-10 June 2016.  “Digital Participation for All” was chosen as the central motto of the Conference with the participation of 1500 participants from 40 countries and 900 German Community Learning Centers (“Volkshochschulen, VHS)” in what is known as Europe’s biggest Congress for Non-Formal Learning dedicated to sharing and learning. Mr Joachim Gauck, President of the Federal Republic of Germany, opened the conference.
SEAMEO CELLL Centre Director was invited to be one of the panelists for Forum 4 “ Digital-global-inclusive: More equitability through digitalisation” in which he discussed the impact of digitalisation on the participation of the Vietnamese people in current social issues.

Mr Lam also had a meeting with UIL's managerial staff to discuss planning details of the Project Towards a Lifelong Learning Agenda for Southeast Asian Countries, funded by UIL with SEAMEO CELLL being the implementation agency.
