On 7 September 2016, SEAMEO VOCTECH Governing Board Meeting Delegation and Dr Tinsiri Siribodhi, SEAMEO Secretariat Deputy Director paid a visit to SEAMEO CELLL’s premises. Mr Le Huy Lam, Centre Director and the Centre staff warmly welcomed the delegation.
During the visit, the convivial atmosphere pervaded; the welcoming session was initiated by self-introductions of the two Centres regarding their profiles and notable achievements. It was closely followed by experience exchange on lifelong learning and TVET, the two subjects which bear continuing relevance. SEAMEO CELLL expects further cooperation between the two centres to gain more from SEAMEO VOCTECH’s extensive expertise.
On this occasion, the Centre Director briefly updated on SEAMEO CELLL’s flagship project “Towards a Lifelong Learning Agenda in Southeast Asian Countries”; the delegation expressed support to the project. Dr Tinsiri congratulated SEAMEO CELLL on its achievements during the past few years of operation and paid a compliment on its constant effort to leapfrog into the current position. By the end of the visit, the delegates were invited to quickly tour around the Centre and especially take a look at some newly renovated features of the building.
